Jesters' Dead Photos

Jesters'Dead formed in 1994. Funk rock was the aim with subtle UFO influences to the lyrical content. Members included Chris Canini on drums, Ben Simale on base, Paul Lambros ( in make up ) on guitar and myself on vocals and guitar. Eventually Paul left the band due to lack of commitment and Jesters' Dead ultimately became a three piece. Gigging around Adelaide our most frequent venue was the Tivoli where we made 2nd in the battle of the bands. Being dubbed too theatrical we persisted till a fall out in 1997. Most popular song amongst fans was titled "Spiel" due to its up beats and funk influence.

Jesters' Dead MP3s

1994-1997

Track 1 " Missing Time"
Track 2 "Telepathy"
Track 3 "The Message"
Track 4 "Spiel"
The cover design mimics my experience as a kid. In a dream there was a mass sighting at the local oval which was around the corner from where I lived. While everyone was mesmorised by this 3km wide UFO, I ran back home to get my torch?? My room was dark but I knew it was in my bottom sock drawer....grabbed it then switched it on.......I was 8yrs old. This EP never got finished. Track 1 has no bass line, bass is out of tune in track two, Bass slips in track 4 ... needless to say the bass player left this project. With all inperfections in mind ,.... even my off bung notes, I hope you enjoy !
Vocals/Guitar: Leigh Madden
Drums: Chris Canini
Bass Guitar: Ben Samale

Mindseys MP3s

2000-2005

Track 1 "True Messiah"
Track 2 "Reincarnation"
Track 3 "Just because.."( I agree with you doesn't mean I don't think that you are an idiot ! )
These are only a sample of the complete Mindseye songlist. The bands basic theme was to present an open approach to the unknown. The music experimented with mood, dinamics, and even borderlined on crazy !!
Vocals: Josh Wilson

Guitar/Vocals: Leigh Madden

Mindseye formed in 2000. Interestingly enough it took over three years to come up with a name for this band. Originally Sector 0, Phantom Hitchiker, Default, Parasite mind, and eventually Mindseye. Finding a singer was even harder ! I started writing riffs on my 4 track and showed Chris Canini. We advertised for a guitarist and singer as we had a base player in mind. Including myself Leigh Madden members at this stage included Chris Canini on drums, Jarrod White on base, Rik Lehmann on guitar ( who answered the add ). We were away ! Writing tunes experimentally. I could honestly say we spent 4 years looking for a singer who could adapt to music already written. Singer after singer after singer ... either couldnt keep up or we had to let go. Eventually after doing an instrumental gig at the German Arms we met Josh. A school teacher, masters degree in liturature. Other job was a bike courier. Josh provided perfect words to our dimentional approach to agressive hard rock. Maintaining this business proved to be difficult. Band members got married. Some had kids growing up fast. Eventually I had a inspirational turning point where a decision was made to dissolve the band. This left band funds in the air. A new demo is currently being recorded and is at " suspended status " till members are alligned again??

Music by Leigh

Welcome,
So I am thinking about writing music again.... YES ! Due to my current research and interests I have decided to uniquely combign them all. Paranormal Music. Similar to Jester's Dead, Similar to Mindseye, but with my past experience, I should be able to bring it to a higher level. The plan is to write and record all instuments myself, I have already approached long time music comanion Chris from Lapdancer to eventually record the live tracks with me. One song at a time. So for now I will posting old achive stuff from my past .... a catalogue of my history. Photos ...MP3 downloads ... fun stuff. Until then, then...
